New Look!
Hi Divas
As you can see, my website underwent a major transformation this weekend, I hope you guys like it! I just wanted to apologize because all of my blog posts before today didn’t make it through the migration and I have to bring them over individually, this also means that all of your comments were lost… {sob}. I’ll definitely try to transfer everything by next week.
Thanks for all your support!
Much love.
Renee
EDIT: All comments have been lost as well, so guys if you see something you like, say something

The New York Makeup Show 2010 – Day 1
I had such a great time at the New York Makeup Show this year that I couldn’t wait to come back to share all the fun with you guys. Hmmm where do I start? Well firstly, I arrived at the first day of the Makeup Show with my friend Wesley and was greeted with a pretty long line of makeup enthusiasts ahead of us. As we eventually made our way in, we received a complimentary copy of the Spring issue of On-Makeup magazine which had many ads from the exhibitors at the show and some great industry information.
As soon as I was inside I had to stop for a cup of coffee and a croissant to get my day off to a right start, Lord knows this Trini woman would not have been able to face the crowds on an empty stomach. When I was done, I had only one thing on my mind. SHOPPING! I headed over to get some brushes and my oh my, I thanked my lucky stars that I could have found a way to fit myself into a little space with ease. The things we women go through for a brush…

Its usually very difficult for me to shop in such a crowded environment so we decided to attend a couple of seminars, I saw some beautiful work by some amazing artists such as Ms. Eve Pearl (who I met briefly at the show in 2008 and was kind enough to let me admire her Emmy Award), Kevin James Bennett, and Ms. Dani Fonseca (who just happened to be the same person who taught me how to do airbrush makeup back in 2006). Here she is doing her thing and taking a question from the audience…

This year featured a lot of bodyart and I was completely impressed by the breathtaking results.

While making my way around the show I came across the L’oreal booth so I went to check out the different shades of HIP cream eyeliners and met up with the lovely BLACK SWAN AT BEYOND BEAUTY who right off the bat heard my accent and asked if I was Trini. Are we that easy to spot?…. Nah…. her husband is Trini so she hears this accent all the time, lol! So guys, right after you’ve subscribed to my rss make your way over to Black Swan at Beyond Beauty and subscribe to her blog. **kisses**
